Mrs. Ashwini Pramod Patil Mrs. Ashwini Pramod Patil (M. Pharm, Quality Assurance) is presently working as Assistant Professor of Quality Assurance in Shri D.D.Vispute college of Pharmacy and Research Center New Panvel, Navi Mumbai and also pursuing Ph.D in University of Mumbai. She has 5 years of teaching experience in pharmacy academics. She has published one research article in an international journal and has one Indian patent. 4. Dr. (Mrs.) Vandana Pradeep Patil Dr. (Mrs.) Vandana Pradeep Patil (M. Pharm, Ph.D) is presently working as Professor and Head, Department of Pharmaceutics, Yash Institute of Pharmacy, Aurangabad. She has 22 years of versatile teaching experience. She has published more than 35 Research and Review papers in National and International journals with h-index 9. She has delivered more than 7 lectures at national and university level workshops, seminars as Resource Person. She is recognized as PG and Ph.D. Guide of Dr. BAMU, Aurangabad. She is associated with life membership of APTI and ISTE.
<p><br></p><p>The objective of this book entitled “A Practical Manual of Industrial Pharmacy-I” is to combine the knowledge of Formulative pharmacy and industrial pharmacy in one book.</p><p>The major thrust has been taken to make the book more student friendly as per the requirements of Pharmacy Council of India.</p><p>This book comprises of Seventeen experiments and each experiment includes the list of requirements, basic principle of the experiment, a small profile of active ingredients and a brief but simple method of preparation of the formulation.</p><p>Experiments are nourished with evaluation parameters of dosage form which is key of sound knowledge of different formulation at the end some marketed formulation for specific dosage form also mentioned. Some pictorial images have been incorporated to make concept clear in more refined way.</p><p>One bonus point is that, we added some experiments as per syllabus of formulative pharmacy, as per draft rule of PCI syllabus, to make clear idea about that dosage form also which cop the students to minimize the gap between theory and practical syllabus.</p><p>Performing these additional experiments with students is an extra achievement to teacher in outcome base teaching learning system to minimize the content gap in the vast theory syllabus and that of practical.</p><p>This book gives specificity about the practicals required and steps involved in preparation of various dosage forms.</p>
