He takes keen interest in the academic and research activities of his department and has completed the Advance Course in Medical Education conducted by the Medical Council of India (MCI). He is a member of the Medical Education Unit of his college and is actively involved in the implementation of the new Competency Based Medical Education Programme for MBBS undergraduates. He is pursuing the prestigious FAIMER Fellowship and has authored the Logbook for Foundation Course for MBBS Students; Competency Based Logbook in Anatomy, Physiology, Biochemistry and ECE for First Professional MBBS and numerous articles from the field of medical education. Seema Jain MBBS, MD is Professor, Department of Community Medicine, LLRM Medical College, Meerut, Uttar Pradesh. She has a teaching experience of 21 years and takes keen interest in upgrading teaching skills in medical education. She has been working as the MEU Coordinator of her college for the past 7 years, has published more than 40 articles and has worked as Chief Editor to the Community Medicine Newsletter of the State Chapter.
