Pramod John R. completed his graduation and postgraduation from the College of Dental Surgery the Kasturba Medical College Manipal and was serving as a teaching faculty member in the same institution and subsequently at the College of Dental Surgery the Kasturba Medical College Mangalore. He served as Professor and Head Department of Oral Medicine and Radiology at the Mahatma Gandhi Government Dental College and Hospital Pondicherry before moving over to the Amrita College of Dentistry the Amrita Institute of Medical Sciences and Research as Professor and Head of the Department of Oral Medicine Oral Diagnosis and Radiology.
