Dr. A. P. Krishna has completed his M.Sc. Physiology with the First rank from University of Calicut and obtained his Ph.D. degree from the same University. He has a rich and three decades of long teaching experience, He taught Physiology to various groups of students like MBBS. BDS, B.Sc. Nursing, BPT, B. Pharm. and other related courses. He is recognised as a popular teacher both by students and colleagues. His several research papers were published in National and International journals. He worked as an examiner for MBBS, BDS, M.Sc., Ph.D., BNYS and B.Sc. Nursing, BPT of various Universities. He served as Chairman of Board of Studies in Physiology of University of Calicut. Currently, he is serving as Senior Professor, Department of Physiology, K. S. Hegde Medical Academy, Nitte University (Deemed to be University), Mangaluru, Karnataka.
