Nita Ganguly has been an educator for over twenty-four years. She has won several national and state awards including the ‘Best Teachers award for Excellence in Education’ in 2004 and ‘Excellence in Teaching Award in Innovative Teaching Practices’ in 2010. She is an environmentalist, trained by Nobel Prize winner, Al Gore. She is also a mentor for TCRP (The Climate Reality Project). She conducts pedagogy and environmental awareness workshops and has played a vital role in several educational and environmental projects undertaken by the Department of Environment, Government of Delhi.
Planet Earth is our only home. Over the years, we have accumulated a lot of waste that has endangered our environment. Today, however, we have one last chance to protect our planet before it is too late. Meet Ali and Een, two friends who visit Earth and encourage people to inculcate the habit of recycling and to do much more to preserve this amazing planet.
