Swapnil Sudhirkumar Agarwal MD DNB MNAMS is currently Professor and Head, Department of Forensic Medicine and Toxicology, Pramukhswami Medical College and Shree Krishna Hospital, Karamsad, Anand, Gujarat, and Controller (Academics),Bhaikaka University. He completed his MD (Forensic Medicine and Toxicology) from Veer Narmad South Gujarat University, Surat,and later qualified DNB (Forensic Medicine) from National Board of Examinations, New Delhi,in 2002. He has experience of working in three different states, having exposure to various setups involving medicolegal work.His varied experience spanning over 20 years includes the area of his parent subject,human research ethics, student affairs,health profession education,and bioethics. He is trained in good clinical practices (GCP), is an Assessor at National Accreditation Board for Hospitals and Healthcare Providers [NABH] for ethics committee—clinical trials, has received certification in analytical toxicology from AIMS, Kochi, been Director, Internal Quality Assurance Cell at his current university,and is chairperson for institutional ethics committee(s). To his credit are a few books, several book chapters contributed in multi-authored books,papers published in national and international journals, guest lectures and presentations made at the national and international seminars.
