Kavitha Mandana has been writing and illustrating regularly for Deccan Herald for fifteen years. Her short stories for both children and adults have appeared in a number of anthologies and textbooks. She has previously written two books: Tenali Raman and Akbar, the Mighty Emperor. This is her first novel for young adults.
