In this edition, newer topics such as Mental Healthcare Act , POCSO Act, ICD-11 and others have also been included to keep the students abreast with changing pattern of postgraduate entrance examinations. The questions based on updated and revised AIIMS pattern have also been included in each chapter. Despite all the above-mentioned changes, the heart of the book remains the same. The book was written with the single intent of making psychiatry understandable to a medical student and it still attempts to do the same.
