Besides the huge loss of life is the tragedy of those who are left behind-wives, parents, children, relatives and friends, who take years to face up to the loss of a loved one. 187 Lives presents an account of the events of that day, and portraits of those who died, both in a tribute to the victims, and as a reminder of the incalculable cost of terrorist violence.
