The second edition is mainly focused on including the recent advances in care of this precious age group. One chapter has been completely devoted for this. Topics, such as administration of vaccines, newborn history taking, and guidelines for breast milk storage are newly added to this edition. Apart from this, the contents of various procedures are updated relevant to present scenario and research evidences. Further, the incorporation of figures, tables and flowcharts in various chapters will serve as a valuable tool in understanding the procedures in a holistic way.
