Dr. Kiran Dahiya has been working as a professor in the Department of Biochemistry, Pt. B.D. Sharma PGIMS, Rohtak, Haryana since 2014. She did her MBBS and MD from the same institute. She has a profound interest in academics and research with more than 110 articles, 3 books and 20 book chapters to her credit. She is a member of editorial and reviewer board of a number of national and international journals and had been the organizing secretary of the national conference AMBICON 2015 and a CME on Quality Control in 2017 conducted at her institute. As a quality manager, her role had been phenomenal in NABL accreditation of Clinical Biochemistry Laboratory, PGIMS Rohtak in 2017. She is the recipient of 'Distinguished Professor' and 'Research Excellence' awards for her works by different societies and has been nominated as a member of expert group for preparing competence based guidelines and minimum standard requirements for MD Biochemistry by NMC. She is involved in teaching of medical, dental and paramedical undergraduate as well as postgraduate students for last 20 years and has worked for about a year in African Oncology Institute, Libya. She has supervised and is still guiding many thesis projects and dissertations.
