Agribusiness include not only those that farm the land but also the people and firms that provide the inputs process the output manufacture the food products transport and sell the food products to consumers. Agribusiness management encompasses many aspects of the economy: agricultural producers businesses that provide supplies and services to the producers (including cooperatives) businesses that add value to agricultural products and those that facilitate the marketing of agricultural products to an ever-growing marketplace.</p><p>The Agribusiness Management major is designed to meet the needs of students interested in careers with agricultural input supply agricultural production agricultural finance commodity assembly and processing and agricultural marketing organizations.</p><p>This book aims at providing students of agribusiness teachers researchers professionals and all those interested in the field of agriculture with a broader understanding of agribusiness as a system and the key concepts needed to successfully manage an agribusiness enterprise.</p>
