The new edition of Business Law is updated with amendments and relevant case law. Since last edition, Maharashtra Ordinance No. XVII of 2007 amending Maharashtra Co-operative Societies Act, 1960 is replaced by Maharashtra Co-operative Societies (Amendment) Act, 2008. Maharashtra Co-operative Rule, 1961 are amended on 18.05.2007. Some provisions of Companies Act are also amended in 2009. The text accordingly incorporates all relevant changes appropriately. The new concept in partnership is introduced, i.e., limited liability of partners by way of partners by way of enactment of Limited Liability Partnership Act, 2008.
