An organised approach to any difficultly is essential for a rapid solution. It is even more important when the problem relates to a living being. This book has been conceived with this fundamental thought in mind. It is meant to guide the budding clinicians to systematically approach the patients in a problem-oriented manner. The book has two separate sections; one each on Obstetrics and Gyneology. Each section covers a wide spectrum problem-related differential diagnosis and then ventures into the details of history and examination to reach a provisional diagnosis. This is followed by probable investigations, which ought to be offered for confirming the diagnosis. There are dedicated chapters on minor procedures in obstetrics and gynecology, instruments used, contraception, MTP and family planning, which are the “must know” areas for any students of this field and practicing clinicians. The book is aimed at enhancing the clinical skills of clinicians in managing their patients.
