<p>Coin Collecting in Northern India is a numismatic study covering the entire Northern India. Plates are depicted by the author to study Pali IndoGreek and IndoRoman coins during the ancient period. Coins unearthed from Kashmir from the era of Hindu kingdoms to Sultanate kingdoms are also discussed in detail. The Delhi Sultanate Mughal Suri and postMughal era coins are also studied in this book. About the Author Charles J. Rodgers (18381898) was a British oriental scholar specializing in Urdu and Persian and numismatics. He was appointed as the Honorary Numismatist to the Government of India. He served as the Secretary to the Religious Book Society at Lahore in 1898 and Archaeological Surveyor of the Panjab in 1886.
