A separate chapter has been added in the section on Mycology-Fungi and Human Welfare which deals with the overall influence of Fungi in the affairs of Man. A detailed account of mushriim culture is given in this chapter to enthuse students to take up this profitable venture. Another addition in this section is a fairly detailed section on Plant Anatomy has a detailed account of Wood Anatomy including an artificial key for the identification of some of the important Indian timber trees.
