Mohammed Iqbal R popularly known as Iqbal Sir is an award-winning professional trainer and mathematics expert in the field of various competitive examinations like IIT JEE KEAM ISI BITSAT KVPY Olympiads etc. He was a Kerala topper in Mathematics in the CENTA Teaching Professional Olympiad (TPO) 2017. He also won the Reliance Foundation Teacher Award in 2018. He graduated with a B. Tech. and M. Tech. in Electrical Engineering from IIT Madras where he was a topper. He then worked as an engineer for a Japanese multi-national company located in Chennai which he quit later on to follow his passion for mathematics and teaching. He was an excellent performer throughout his academic life and has cracked various national level exams like IIT JEE GATE Maths Olympiad KVPY etc. with high ranks. He has also won many scholarships and awards including the Branch Topper Award while at IIT Madras. Currently as the Head of Mathematics Department at Coach India IITians Academy Thrissur he is actively involved in classroom and online teaching content development and in delivering motivational and career guidance lectures.
