Conductive property of metals allowed us to invent many electrical gadgets, which are further enhanced with the discovery of semiconductor materials. Advancements in electronics have surpassed all other technological advancements during the last few decades. A keen observation will indicate that a major share of these electronic advancements belongs to digital electronics. The changing scenario of digital electronics has resulted in changes in student demand for variation in presentation styles of the subject matter. Also, lucidity in language has always been high on this demand list. These two concerns are the major driving forces for the preparation of the present manuscript. Pedagogical features are incorporated at appropriate places to help the readers in various ways. Acceptance and appreciation of the well-established title Digital Electronics by the readers from all levels throughout the country has been highly encouraging and motivating to the author to bring out this second edition in an even more student-friendly manner.
