Thereafter she worked as Professor and Head of Anatomy Department in Kosturbo Medical College Manipal Karnataka and Sree Mookambika
Institute of Medical Sciences Kulasekha ram Kanyakumari District Tamil Nadu. She was given Good Teacher Award in 1997 by MAHE (Manipal Academy of Higher Education) Manipal. Currently she is the Principal of Sree Mookambika Institute of Medical Sciences.
