1. Dr. Nirali Chauhan has completed her MBBS and MS (Masters in Surgery - Otorhinolaryngology) from Baroda Medical College and SSG Hospital, Maharaja Sayajirao University, Vadodara, Gujarat, India in 2003 and 2007 respectively. She is at present working as a Professor, department of Otorhinolaryngology, Dhiraj Hospital, SBKS MI&RC, Sumandeep Vidyapeeth, Piparia, Vadodara, Gujarat, India. She has more than 14 years of clinical and academic experience. She has expertise in various otorhinolaryngology surgeries ranges from FESS, Mastoid Surgeries, Head and Neck surgeries including malignancies and laryngeal pathologies. She is also academically oriented and editor of the book, ‘Evidence Based Treatment Protocols’ in which she has written various chapters as well. She has published more than 20 research articles in International and National journals which having 92 citations with h index of 6 and i10 index of 4 in Google scholar. She is also working as Evidence Based Education System (EBES) Coordinator from SBKS MI&RC, Sumandeep Vidyapeeth. She is actively working on EBES training of under graduates, Postgraduates as well as faculties for more than 7 years. She is life time member of Association of Otolaryngologist of India as well Indian Medical Association Baroda (local) and Gujarat state branch. 2. Dr. Dipika Baria, MD, is presently working as an Associate Professor in Physiology Department, Smt. B. K. Shah Medical Institute and Research Centre (SBKSMIRC), Sumandeep Vidyapeeth Deemed to be University, Piparia, Waghodia, Vadodara, Gujarat. She is also working as a Coordinator of Evidence Based Education System cell and represents SBKSMIRC. She has more than 8 years of teaching and research experience to her credit. She has several research publications in National and International Journals. She has a written a book entitled ‘Evidence-based treatment protocol’ as an editor.
<p>Practice of EBM is lifelong self directed learning mainly for care of patients and to practice EBM it should be incorporated in teaching & learning process from under graduate level by evidence based education system (EBES). The main aim of the book is to train undergraduate students by EBES so in future they can practice EBM. The book is having four modules for each phase of MBBS and is about the concept & introduction of EBM, steps of EBM including formation of proper answerable question in form of PICO, searching evidences for same, critical appraisal & application of that evidences along with it various epidemiological studies & application of biostatistics test, level of evidence and EBES projects for each phase of MBBS students.<br></p>
