Shahana Dasgupta, a graduate of Delhi University, holds an L.L.M. degree from Ann Arbor, Michigan University. She is the author of three other Rupa books: This India, Razia: The People's Queen and Rani Lakshmibai: The Indian Heroine. She lives in Berlin.
