Sandeep Nulkar is a veteran of the translation industry in India and one of its more known faces globally. The first Asian to receive the ‘Outstanding Contribution to the Language Industry’ award, he has also been named among the Top 50 global localisation influencers by Nimdzi. He serves on the National Executive Committee of the National Language Translation Mission set up by the Ministry of Electronics & IT, Government of India, and leads initiatives as the co-chair of two committees at FICCI. Sandeep also contributes on several advisory boards and is presently the vice president of the Alliance Française, Pune. He is a popular columnist and author who is currently working on his first fiction novel and has been commissioned to write two film scripts.
