This compilation aims to serve as a comprehensive book on the subjects of Operative Dentistry and Endodontics to entirely meet the requirements of the students preparing for the final BDS degree examination. The scheme of the contents is very simple: Each section begins with elementary or basic concepts and then develops to give the details in the-subsequent chapters. This edition presents a vast improvement over the previous edition the highlighting feature being the two-colour format which makes a more aesthetic and pleasant display of text and graphics to the reader. It retains the primary objective of the first edition being a concise reader-friendly text bridging the gap between what a student knows and what he/she ought to know to write in the theory examination.The chapter sequence also remains unchanged but new material has been freely incorporated wherever considered necessary.
