Boria Majumdar, a Rhodes scholar and founding trustee of the South Asia Research Foundation, is a senior research fellow at the University of Central Lancashire and an Adjunct Professor, University of South Australia. A consulting Editor with Times Global Broadcasting Company, he has written extensively on the history and politics of sport in India and the world both for the academic and the popular medium. As visiting professor at the University of Toronto, he has taught the history of the Commonwealth Games for over four years now with Professor Bruce Kidd. He will be covering the 2010 Commonwealth Games for Times Now Television.
