<p>We are delighted to present our book entitled “Pharmaceutics Manual” for the First Year of the Diploma in Pharmacy course. This practical manual has been written according to PCI Education Regulations, 2020, for the Diploma in pharmacy students. This manual designed to impart basic knowledge and skills on formulating and dispensing different pharmaceutical dosage forms. It also provides basic information on various Pharmaceutics topics. The manual cover all the experiments mentioned in the syllabus of Pharmaceutics Practical. This practical manual contain, experiments related to handling of Indian Pharmacopoeia and National formulary of India will make the students acquainted with the Indian official compendia. Mostly experiments gives the information about different dosage form (i.e., liquid orals, emulsions, suspension, ointment, gel, cream, liniment, powder, sterile injection, tablet, capsules etc.) and their formulation based on working formula and labelling and packing requirements. Some experiments about cosmetics and their formulations. The demonstration based experiments will help the students to understand the tablet compression process and quality control test of tablets, capsules, emulsions and single-dose parenteral preparations.&nbsp; A brief introduction to various dosage forms before the related experiments can assist in better perception of the experiment.
