He graduated in Mechanical Engineering from Jamia Millia Islamia, New Delhi, INDIA completed his Master’s in Mechanical Engineering from U.P. Technical University, Lucknow, INDIA followed by his doctorate in Mechanical Engineering (Thermal Engineering) from M. D. University, Rohtak, INDIA. He has more than 21 years of teaching experience starting as Lecturer and rising upto full Professor. In this period of more than 02 decades he has published 60 research papers in various National and International Journals and has also authored 06 books in various subjects of Mechanical Engineering. He has also presented a plethora of papers in National and International conferences. 27 students have completed their M.Tech. dissertations under his guidance. 04 scholars have completed and 06 are presently registered for their Ph.D. research work under his supervision in the area of solar thermal application. He got 04 Patents granted. Among all, recently granted Australian patent on the topic: A Novel Apparatus for Controlling Energy in a Solar Disinfection System is of high repute. 2. Dr. Pallav Gupta is presently working as an Assistant Professor (Grade-III) in the Department of Mechanical Engineering, Amity School of Engineering and Technology, Amity University Uttar Pradesh, Noida (INDIA). He completed his B.Tech. (Honors) from Department of Mechanical Engineering, Integral University, Lucknow, INDIA in the year 2009, Qualified GATE in 2009 with AIR-3291 and then completed his M.Tech. (Honors) from I.I.T. (B.H.U.), INDIA in the year 2011 followed by Ph.D. in the year 2015 from I.I.T. (B.H.U.), INDIA. His area of research includes Material Processing; Composite Materials; Mechanical Behaviour and Corrosion. He also has a good command over teaching subjects like Material Science; Engineering Materials; Manufacturing Processes; Measurement and Metrology; Composite Materials. Dr. Gupta has over 08 years of teaching and research experience. He has published more than 100 research papers in peer reviewed international journals as well as in reputed international and national conferences in India as well as in abroad. Apart from this he has also published 12 chapters in books published by Springer, Elsevier and Taylor & Francis. Dr. Gupta has edited 06 books and has also authored a Textbook on “Manufacturing Processes” (IP Innovative Publication Pvt. Ltd.). He has been granted 01 Australian Patent. A large number of students have completed their Summer Internships, B.Tech. Projects and M.Tech.
