Honey Irani was born on 25 August 1952 in Bombay (Now Mumbai) into a Parsi family. Her father Noshir Irani and his family owned the B.Merwan restaurant in Grant Road which till this day is famous for its mawa cakes. Her mother was Perin Irani. Her siblings are Menka, Bunny, Sarosh and Daisy. Honey is the youngest among them. Like Daisy, Honey too has worked as a child actor from the age of 2 1/2 inaround 70 films. She has also written stories and screenplaysfor hit films like Lamhe, Aaina, Darr, Kya Kehna, Kaho Na Pyar Hai, Koi Mil Gaya, Krrish, Jab Pyaar Kisi Se Hota Hai, and many more. She has written and also directed the film, Armaan.
