Ash + Chess is a stationery company run by queer power couple Ashley Molesso and Chess Needham. They create greeting cards and art prints that are bold with retro color palettes, often using their artwork to make a political statement. Their company made its debut at the National Stationery Show in May 2017, and their products and art are now sold in hundreds of retailers throughout the United States, Canada, Europe, and Asia. They have also done illustration work for Belletrist, a book club run by actress Emma Roberts and Karah Preiss; HarperCollins; Workman Publishing; Plaza Style, a Japanese retail brand; and Brooklyn Roasting Company.
